Description

Genomic fragment containing eve sequences from -6.6kb to +9.8kb (derived from BAC R06J01). A 33bp fragment from the distal region of the eve stripe 2 enhancer and a 211bp fragment from the proximal region of the eve stripe 2 enhancer (containing two Kr protein binding sites and two hb protein binding sites) have been deleted, resulting in a 509bp "minimal" stripe 2 enhancer (MSE). Sequence encoding the SYFP2 fluorescent protein has been been inserted at the C-terminal end of the eve coding sequence.
