Both the loxP and FRT cassettes have been excised from P{(loxP.MCP-PRE)(FRT.bxd-PRE)Flipper2}, resulting in a transgene that contains 1. a single loxP site, 2. a single FRT site, 3. a w+* marker and 4. the intronless y+mDint reporter. The y reporter is in opposite orientation to the w+* marker (tail-to-tail orientation).
The P1\loxP and Scer\FRT cassettes have been excised from P{(loxP.MCP-PRE)(FRT.bxd-PRE)Flipper2}.
