Description

Three enhancer fragments drive Scer\GAL4 expression. The 8.5 and 0.8 kb fragments in P{Scr-GAL4.1} are present. A 3.0 kb XbaI-HindII fragment is also present that originated from the 10 kb XbaI negative regulatory element located 40-50 kb upstream of Scr shown in Figure 7 of Gindhart et al (FBrf0080052). The order of elements in the construct is 3.0 kb-0.8 kb-8.5 kb-GAL4.
