Description

Transgenic construct used to test the ability of Trl protein to support long-distance interactions in vivo. Contains the following sequences: 10xUAS sites, an FRT cassette containing 5xTrl (GAGA) protein-binding sites, a y minigene (the UAS sequences are at -893bp relative to the y transcription start site, a loxP cassette containing 5xTrl (GAGA) protein-binding sites and a w+mC minigene (the UAS sequences are almost 5kb upstream of the w gene).
