Description

P{(-loxP)LHG} represents a transgenic construct generated in vivo by using P1cre recombinase to excise sequence from P{(loxP.GAL4.y+)LHG}. P{(-loxP)LHG} contains a single enhancer trap cassette that encodes the 'LHG' lexA::GAD driver (composed of Ecol\lexA, providing DNA binding specificity, fused with the hinge region and the transcriptional activator domain of Scer\GAL4). A single loxP-S site is present upstream of the lexA::GAD enhancer trap cassette.
