Description

UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of the DsRed(E5) fluorescent timer protein. The DsRed(E5) protein changes its fluorescence from green to red over time and can thus be used to report the age of proteins and cells (see PMID:11090358). The protein is tagged at the N-terminal end with the Tag:Mito(hCOX8A) mitochondrial targeting signal.
