Description

Genomic fragment derived from the BAC RP98-7A5 clone, which encompasses the entire nudE transcription unit, plus approximately 650bp of sequence upstream of the 5'UTR (this includes approximately 20bp of the 5'UTR of the neighbouring CG6707 gene) and approximately 420bp of sequence downstream of the 3'UTR. A premature stop codon has been introduced into the nudE coding sequence after amino acid residue 196 (nucleotide sequence changed from AATAC to TAATAG).
