Description

A nanos promoter drives expression of a reporter for piRNA biogenesis. This consists of the Avic\GFP open reading frame followed by a 3'UTR that contains three target sites for cellular piRNAs (target site sequence is CAAAGGTTATCAAAGAGCAACTGAAAACCACCGTATAGTGACTAAA TACCTACTCCCACTTAAAAAAGGAAATATTCATG).
