Reference

Expression is observed in third instar larvae in salivary gland secretory cells and imaginal ring cells as well as in the anterior-most regions of the midgut and Malpighian tubules. In adults, expression is observed in the salivary gland, Type II (stellate) cells in the Malpighian tubules, and in the male ejaculatory duct. In the midgut, expression is seen in regions R1 and R2.
