EcollexAp65.per drives expression in a subset of neurons in the ventral nerve cord - period-positive median segmental interneurons, four of which also express ScerGAL4GMR70C01, and a pair of more lateral neurons. Period-positive median segmental interneurons directly interact with ScerGAL4eve.PU expressing motor neurons as shown by a positive GFP reconstitution across synaptic partners (GRASP) signal, VGlut1 expression colocalized with this signal.
