Description

The ubiquitous OpIE2 promoter (derived from the baculovirus Orgyia pseudotsugata multicapsid nuclear polyhedrosis virus) drives expression of Tn\neoR. The transcription unit includes the female-specific intron and splice sites from tra so that Tn\neoR protein (which confers resistance to geneticin) is only expressed in females.
