Description

UASt regulates expression of a Drosophila codon-optimized Scer\HSP104 (a protein disaggregase) with a Kozak sequence (ACAAA) added prior to the start codon, in which 4 mutations ( Y257A:E285Q:Y662A:E687Q , aka "Double Pore Loop Double Walker B") have been introduced to ensure that the protein cannot engage substrate or hydrolyze ATP.
