Description and Uses
Description

Construct which contains the parS(INT1) DNA segment that is bound by the parB1 protein. Designed to allow in vivo visualization of the DNA; the parB1 protein binds to parS(INT1) and spreads along adjacent DNA, and thus if the parB1 protein is tagged with a label such as a fluorescent protein, it can be visualized (for details see PMID:24625580).
