Description

Contains an 8kb fragment that includes y regulatory and coding sequences, including the upstream wing and body enhancers and the intronic bristle enhancer. An FRT cassette containing a 430bp gypsy insulator has been inserted in between the wing and body enhancers and the y promoter, at position -893 relative to the y transcription start site.
