UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of a mutated form of Ir8a in which sequence encoding the co-receptor extra loop (CREL) (amino acid residues 658-681) has been deleted. The coding sequence is tagged at the N-terminal end with Tag:SS(hCALR) and EGFP.
