Transgenic construct used to study insulator pairing. Encodes two divergently transcribed reporters, GFP and lacZ, with each reporter being driven by its own copy of the eve basal promoter (-275 to +106bp relative to the eve transcription start site) and also encoding the eve 3'UTR (+1300 to +1525bp). 'Homie' insulator sequence has been inserted in between the two divergent promoters, oriented such that the GFP reporter is in the same orientation 5' to 3' with respect to the Homie sequence as occurs for eve in the genome (where Homie is normally located downstream of the endogenous eve locus).
