Description

Transgenic construct used as to study insulator pairing in trans. Contains the eve 'Me' mesoderm enhancer (+5.7 to +6.6 kb), the eve APR enhancer (+3.0 to +4.1 kb) and a 603bp eve-proximal sub-fragment of the 'Nhomie' sequence (an insulator that is normally located upstream of the endogenous eve locus). The Nhomie fragment is oriented in the 'reverse' orientation.
