polo regulatory sequences (881bp genomic fragment from upstream of the start codon) drive expression of the polo coding sequence (cDNA). The coding sequence is tagged at the N-terminal end with mCherry. A 704bp genomic fragment from after the polo stop codon is present downstream of the coding sequence.
