Description

Transgenic construct used to study the gypsy\su(Hw)BR insulator. Contains the y gene including upstream regulatory regions (wing and body enhancers). The bristle enhancer is also present in the y intron. An FRT cassette containing the 430bp gypsy\su(Hw)BR insulator sequence has been inserted in between the body enhancer and the promoter.
