Description

A genomic fragment containing Rad23 (including its endogenous promoter) is fused upstream of eight repeats of the 1.688 satellite (the repeats were isolated from the X chromosome pericentromeric region), such that the 3' end of Rad23 is proximal to the 1.688 satellite repeat.
