Description

20xUAS regulatory sequences are followed by a 67bp intron derived from Mhc ('IVS'), an FRT cassette that contains Kir2.1 tagged with tdTomato, and then finally sequence encoding GFP tagged with a Tag:M(mCd8a) membrane targeting signal. In the absence of FLP recombinase, only the tdTomato-tagged Kir2.1 protein is produced, resulting in the silencing of neurons in which it is expressed.
