The αTub67C promoter drives expression of the pav open reading frame (from the FIO3252 cDNA clone), in which 4 putative Cdk1 phosphorylation sites have been mutated to phosphomimetic residues (amino acid replacements T7D, T15D, T458D and T467D). The coding sequence is tagged at the N-terminal end with EGFP. Four silent mutations have been introduced into the pav coding sequence, rendering this transgene resistant to RNAi mediated by P{TRiP.HMJ02232}.
