Description

10xUAS regulatory sequences drive expression of a dicistronic transcription unit that encodes two open reading frames (ORFs) separated by a P2A sequence (this results in separate translation of each protein). The first ORF encodes a postsynaptically targeted Hsap\GCG ligand; this is a fusion protein comprised of Hsap\GCG, a flexible linker containing a Tag:MYC tag, and Mmus\Icam5 (this targets the protein to postsynaptic sites). The second ORF encodes EGFP tagged with a farnesylation sequence.
