Description

A tubulin promoter drives expression of Vang carrying a single amino acid replacement (the first Y residue of the YYXXF motif has been mutated to F). The protein is tagged at the C-terminal end with GFP. (FlyBase curator comment: the mutation in the Vang gene is given as Y341F in FBrf0232847, however analysis of the release 6.53 annotated gene model indicates the change to be Y338F).
