Description

UAS sequences (from pWalium10.moe) regulate expression of full-length, pathogenic Hsap\ATXN3 that encodes a polyglutamine (polyQ) repeat of 80 residues (the polyQ repeats are encoded by CAGCAA doublet repeats to preclude mRNA toxicity and unconventional translation). Each of the Lys residues in the coding sequence has been mutated to Arg. The polyQ-reading frame is tagged at the C-terminal end with Tag:HA.
