Description

UASp sequences regulate expression of the Cenp-C coding sequence (amplified from the FI18815 cDNA clone). The coding sequence is tagged at the N-terminal end with an epitope tag (3xTag:HA). Since this transgene does not contain Cenp-C 5'UTR sequence, it is resistant to RNAi mediated by the P{TRiP.GL00409} transgene (whose target sequence is within the Cenp-C 5'UTR).
