Description and Uses
Description

Transgene used to study the mechanisms regulating dosage compensation. Contains a Ppyr\LUCDCTN2-p50.mLm marker, an FRT site, the lncRNA:roX1 locus (including the chromatin entry site), a loxP site, a w+mC marker, a second FRT site, a 2kb genomic fragment containing 1.688 satellite repeats from the 3F cytological position, and a second loxP site. The arrangement of FRT and loxP sites allows the excision of either of the lncRNA:roX1 or 1.688 sequences.
