Description

Transgenic construct used in a study to characterize a Polycomb Response element (PRE) from the D. virilis genome. Contains a 920bp fragment ('PREvir') that shows clear but not complete homology to the D. melanogaster bxdPRE from the Ubx regulatory region, an Hsp70-lacZ reporter and a w[+] marker.
