Description

Transgenic construct used in an enhancer blocking assay. Contains a y reporter that includes the upstream y wing and body enhancers plus the y transcription unit (which contains the downstream bristle enhancer). An FRT cassette containing a 1kb fragment corresponding to the TART-element 3'UTR (corresponds to nucleotides 9008-10079 of GB:DMU14101) is present between the upstream enhancers and the y transcription start site.
