UAS sequences regulate expression of lncRNA:roX2 sequence that is inverted compared to wild-type. It consists of two lncRNA:roX2 fragments (both inverted compared to the wild-type orientation): a fragment that contains the ASL and R2H5 regions and a fragment that contains the R2H1 region.
