Transgene that includes 128 tandem lacO repeats, a loxP cassette containing the w eye enhancer, an FRT cassette containing an 820bp minimal fragment of the Mcp boundary element (includes the insulator and the Polycomb response element, 'PRE'), a mini-w marker. The Mcp fragment is oriented such that the PRE is proximal to the mini-w marker.
