Description

Transgenic construct used in a study of the functional properties of enhancers that are bound by the pho repressive complex. Generated in vivo by integration of donor plasmid sequence into the attP site present in the P{w3'.y+.attP} element. As a result of the integration event, an enhancer fragment from the eve gene that is bound by PhoRC is inserted directly upstream of a reconstituted w[+] reporter.
