The minimal sna distal enhancer, in which one of the dl protein binding sites and one of the twi protein binding sites has been mutated, and the sna core promoter are fused upstream of a y transcriptional reporter with 10 copies of the Tag:MS2 stem loop at the N-terminal end of the y transcript.
