Due to an oversight in the implementation of gene annotation merges, the symbols for this transcript and its associated polypeptide were changed in r5.8; the prior symbols were reassigned to a different isoform. Prior to r5.8 the transcript symbol was bun-RD; in r5.8 it was changed to bun-RG, a symbol that has not been used previously in the database.
