        Due to an oversight in the implementation of gene annotation merges, the symbols for this transcript and its associated polypeptide were changed to non-unique designations in r5.8. Although there were no conflicts within a given release, the same symbols were used for different isoforms in different releases. Prior to r5.8 the transcript symbol was alpha-Man-I-RF; from r5.8 to r5.12, it was alpha-Man-I-RG; in r5.13 it was changed to alpha-Man-I-RO, a symbol that has not been used previously in the database.
