Definition A standard procedure to identify RNA fragments containing specific\nsequences. In this procedure RNA fragments are separated by\nelectrophoresis, the fragments are transferred to a membrane and the\nmembrane is incubated with a radio labelled probe that hybridises any\ncomplementary subsequence.[ PubMed:414220 ]
