      Comments

      Expression of Dscam1.34.30.2.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu only partially rescues primary axon extension posteriorly in Dscam20, Dscam21 and Dscam33 mechanosensory clones. Occasionally, Dscam1.34.30.2.Scer\UAS rescues the distal ipsilateral branch and a posterior midline-crossing branch. However, this transgene is unable to rescue the proximal anterior branch and sometimes results in the production of an abnormal mesothoracic branch.
