The expression of ykiM123.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 leads to a hyperplastic overgrowth of the (ptc-positive) domain of expression at the anterior-posterior compartment boundary of the third instar larval wing disc, as compared to controls.

Expression of ykiM123.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in overgrowth of the eye.

Clones in the eye expressing ykiM123.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4tub result in an eye overgrowth phenotype.
