Expression of torHMS00021 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU in adult females significantly decreases locomotor activity in fed conditions, compared to controls; like controls, locomotor activity is significantly increased under starvation conditions.

Females heterozygous for torHMS00021 and Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 crossed to torHMS00021 males results in: 0% hatching; egg/embryonic phenotype: terminal class phenotype; maternal effect.
