Expression of PlexBScer\UAS.cUa in all neurons (under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu) or in sensory neurons specifically (under the control of Scer\GAL412.1) does not result in a significant number of sensory axon mis-projections or stalls.
Expression of two copies of PlexBScer\UAS.cUa under the control of two copies of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu results in both lateral (5.7%) and dorsal sensory axon mis-projections and/or stalls (2.9%). The frequency of lateral defects in these embryos is significantly higher than in control embryos.
Expression of PlexBScer\UAS.cUa in sensory neurons (under the control of Scer\GAL412.1) results in the frequency of the v'ch1 mis-projection phenotype decreasing from 14/7% to 4.8% in a PlexBKG00878 background.
