The severity of the T(2;3)BTD71/+ wing phenotype is dominantly enhanced by Df(3R)Exel6159; the proportion of flies that show withering at the posterior of the wing is increased.
3.8% of heterozygotes have a wild-type wing phenotype, 76.9% show a noticeable loss of tissue at the posterior of the wing and 19.2% show withering at the posterior of the wing.
T(2;3)BTD71/+ flies typically show a slight loss of tissue at the posterior of the wing.
Isolated as disrupter of transvection at the BX-C, assayed with the phenotype of Ubx1:Cbx-1/+.
