The X:17020532..17103876 release 6 coordinates of the left breakpoint are estimates. The left extent corresponds to the estimated position of the left end of band 15D3, because it is likely the breakpoint was seen to lie to the right of the 15D1,2 doublet band in polytene preparations. The right extent corresponds to the rightmost end of a PCR primer pair flanking the insertion site of Mi{ET1}CG4991MB03239 from Table S1 of FBrf0212582, which did not amplify a DNA segment from Df(1)815-6 in tests at the Bloomington Stock Center.
