Affected Genes Inferred by Location (0)
If no genes are listed here, it may be because the affected region is very large. The JBrowse insert above may show an error for the same reason, and other FlyBase tools such as CytoSearch may also fail for large regions. You can contact FlyBase for more help.
In these cases, there will be no "Export to Hitlist" button to the left.
    Phenotypic Data
    In combination with other aberrations
NOT in combination with other aberrations

Exhibits a dominant wing phenotype similar to that associated with D alleles, but the dominant phenotype is not due to D.

Behaves as a null allele when assayed in the embryo.

Wings are held out at 45o and bent slightly back at axil, the wings and body are small, like D4. Alulae are reduced proximally, the remnant is a small triangular flap with marginal bristles. Halteres are at partially held down to fully down. Presutral bristles are missing. Chromosome exhibits a dominant ri-like phenotype.

    Notes on Origin
    Discoverer

    A.T.C. Carpenter.

There is some uncertainty in the designation of D1, D3 and Df(3L)D9 as dominant D alleles.

Associated with: a recessive lethal phenotype that maps to 70D1-2.
