I-CreI has been used to generate a deletion within the Ybb rRNA array (a degenerate consensus for the I-CreI endonuclease is present within the Ybb array): the size of the Ybb rDNA array is reduced compared to the progenitor chromosome.
If no genes are listed here, it may be because the affected region is very large.
The JBrowse insert above may show an error for the same reason,
and other FlyBase tools such as CytoSearch may also fail for large regions.
You can contact FlyBase for more help.
In these cases, there will be no "Export to Hitlist" button to the left.

C(1)DX/Df(Y)bb-31 males (in which the Df(Y)bb-31 chromosome is the only source of rDNA as C(1)DX lacks bb) show a bobbed mutant phenotype.
