Df(3L)atk33 mutants also show defective morphology of larval lch5 organs: cap and ligament cells are normally stretched but neuronal cilia are frequently disorganized.
Mutant larvae exhibit severe defects in locomotion: the number of direction changes is significantly increased, and the total path length is significantly reduced.
