A 2.3 kb-deletion that removes 1161 bp of the Vps33B gene including the first three exons and part of the fourth exon, a total 736bp (the first 196 amino acids) of Vps33B coding sequences. 1,073 bp in the upstream non-coding region at the 5' end of the neighboring Fur1 gene is also deleted.
