lethal (with Pka-C1Cos-9)
Class III allele; homozygous lethal and has no dominant phenotype.
Pka-C1Cos-1, l(2)49Fn[+]/l(2)49Fn1 has visible | dominant phenotype
Pka-C1[+]/Pka-C1Cos-1, l(2)49Fn1 has visible | dominant phenotype
Df(2R)CA58, Pka-C1Cos-1 has partially lethal - majority live phenotype
Pka-C1Cos-1, Pka-R2Cos-A1 has viable phenotype
Pka-C1Cos-1, l(2)49Fn[+]/l(2)49Fn1 has wing phenotype
Pka-C1[+]/Pka-C1Cos-1, l(2)49Fn1 has wing phenotype
Df(2R)CA58, Pka-C1Cos-1 has wing phenotype
l(2)49Fn1 shows a cupped-wing phenotype when heterozygous with Pka-C1Cos-1.
Wings are duplicated when transheterozygous with Df(2R)CA58 (cos-).

FBrf0179171 demonstrates that a number of alleles previously assigned to the "Cos" locus actually map to two separate genes; Pka-C1 and Pka-R2. This allele, previously referred to in FlyBase as "Cos1", has been assigned to the Pka-C1 locus because it fails to complement the lethality of Pka-C1Cos-2, Pka-C1Cos-3, Pka-C1Cos-8 and Pka-C1Cos-9 (see FBrf0046012) which were demonstrated in FBrf0179171 to be alleles of Pka-C1.
