      Eyes are narrow and small without facets; and the surface has rough spots. Eye colour: amber, both pteridines and ommochromes are affected, darker at the rim. Tarsal claws are absent. The third antennal segment is reduced and sensilla on the antennae are abnormal. Phenotype is similar in both sexes. Females lack spermathecae and parovaria. Autonomous in transplants. RK1.
