      Rearing at 17oC leads to normal eye-surface morphology (albeit 36% penetrance of rap1-like deep pseudopupil phenotype); rearing at 29oC causes all flies to have relatively mild eye roughening. Temperature-sensitive period for roughened eye is in third larval instar.
