A Ser325Cys mutation was reported. Additional unreported nucleotide substitutions and indels were observed in the mutant.
At 28oC females exhibit two spermatheca but with fused end parts of the ducts. At 25oC females have one single duct with one spermatheca of enlarged size. At 18oC females have one duct with 3 branches, each bearing a spermatheca. Temperature sensitive period is the third larval instar.
